If you feel you have not been treated fairly or reasonably, by someone in the Building Control Department, you can make
a complaint to the Council concerned. If the complaint relates to the application or interpretation of the Building
Regulations it may be advisable to speak to the Head of the Building Control Department who will advise you on what
actions you can take.
Every Council has its own corporate procedure for dealing with complaints which will be handled in a courteous and
considerate manner and resolved as quickly as possible.
