The Building Control Department administers the Building Regulations in order to secure the health, safety, welfare and convenience of people in the built environment and to conserve fuel and power. This service includes pre-application consultancy, advice plan checking, inspection of works in progress, regularisation of previously unauthorised works and the professional certification of completed works.
